On behalf of Landor LINKS and our partners, we’d like to thank you for speaking at Active City 2025, scheduled to take place at York Barbican on the 2nd and 3rd July. We look forward to your insightful presentation and to a successful event.
To ensure that important communications regarding Active City York are not inadvertently filtered into your email junk folder, it is essential to add conferences@landor.co.uk as a safe sender.
By including this email address in your safe senders list, you can ensure that you receive all relevant updates and information regarding the event without any risk of them being overlooked or missed.

Access & Tickets
At the request of the venue, all attendees must register via Eventbrite and present their ticket on arrival.
Local authority and public sector speakers at Active City York will receive complimentary two-day access, courtesy of Active Travel England, ensuring they can fully engage with the event and their audience.
Private sector speakers are also entitled to complimentary access on the day of their presentation. However, if private sector speakers wish to attend on a day when they are not speaking, they will need to purchase* a non-speaking ticket.
*This only applies to speakers who are not included as part of sponsor or exhibitor allocations.

Specifics about your presentation
Speaker Photograph
Speakers participating in Active City York are kindly reminded to submit a recent photograph and their LinkedIn profile by the deadline of Friday 30th May.
Photos will be used in Landor LINKS marketing and will also be displayed in the speaker biography section of the event website.

Presentation Submission
Individual session briefing notes will be distributed to speakers by Landor LINKS' Content Director, Juliana O'Rourke.
All Presentations must be submitted no later than 16:00 on Tuesday 24th June.
Presentations must be sent as a PowerPoint Presentation (.PPT file) and a 16:9 screen ratio.
It's crucial to send presentations to both conferences@landor.co.uk and juliana.orourke@landor.co.uk to prevent potential disruptions during the event.
Submissions can be sent via email or WeTransfer, with a maximum file size of 2GB. Additionally, speakers are advised to carry a backup copy of their slides on a USB stick.
Please note that formats will NOT be accepted.

All videos and audio should also be embedded into the slides to address potential internet connectivity issues.
On the Day
All speakers must be present in their allocated room at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time on the day of their presentation to meet with a member of the Landor LINKS Team.
Technical support will be available to address any last-minute concerns. These measures are intended to ensure a seamless and successful presentation experience for all participants of Active City York.
Post Event
Following the event, attendees will receive an email containing a link to access all presentations used during the event in PDF format. If any presentation contains sensitive content, speakers are encouraged to notify us within 24 hours after the event so that any necessary edits or adjustments can be made.
Please note that speaker notes will not be included in the shared PDFs.
